Luke chapter 5. Our Lord Jesus Christ, everything He did, well the whole
Bible is for us. For us. But everything our Lord
Jesus Christ did had spiritual significance. He didn't just
do things capriciously. He didn't work miracles just
because He could. He worked miracles when they
were necessary, when they were needed, when there was something
that a call for it. He didn't just, you know, that's
what John said, you see, you know, I mean, Herod said, you
know, he wanted to see the Lord Jesus Christ. He said, perhaps
he would see him do some kind of a miracle. He won't see him
because he wanted to see a miracle. And our Lord Jesus Christ performed
lots and lots of miracles. But up to this time, he had performed
two miracles. And then back over here in verse,
I think it's verse 35 in chapter 4, where he cast out a devil
over there. And it says there, you know,
that in verse 33 and in the synagogue there was a man which had a spirit
of an unclean devil and cried with a loud voice saying let
us alone what have we to do with thee thou Jesus of Nazareth?
Art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art the
Holy One of God and our Lord rebuked him. held our peace and when the devil
had thrown him down he came out of him and hurt him and then
he done his Simon's mother was sick down in verse 38 Simon's
mother was sick and he went into Simon's house and she was taken
with a fever and he stood over and just rebuked the fever and
he left her and immediately she got up started ministering to
him started cooking him some deep So, our Savior, and I tell you
not only He worked miracles, and all these things were for
our benefit, for our learning. And our Savior was a preacher.
Look what it says down here in verse 43 and 44 of chapter 4. Our Lord was a preacher. He was the preacher of all preachers. If He calls you to preach, He
calls you to preach Himself. He calls you to preach the Lord
Jesus Christ. If He calls you to preach, He's
going to call you to set forth His person, His work, His power,
His grace, His salvation. But He was the preacher. Lot
of preachers up to him, but nobody, nobody preached like our Lord
Jesus Christ did. And he said in verse 43, he said,
under them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities
also, for therefore am I sent. And he preached in the synagogues
of Galilee. And he was the best preacher
and he was the most easiest to understand. The only people that
had a problem with him was the Pharisees and the scribes. But he was the easiest to understand.
The scripture says the common people, common people, heard
him gladly. Well, let's look at his preaching.
In verse 1, look at his preaching. And it came to pass, as the people
pressed upon him, for to hear the word of God, he stood by
the lake of Gennesaret. He is a popular preacher. And
look what it says, the people pressed upon him. They come so
close to him in such a great crowd, they started pressing
him, pushing at him. Get close enough to Him. And
they pressed upon Him. And He's bringing, and what happens
here is that they press upon Him. And our Lord Jesus Christ,
look here in Luke 8, chapter 8, verse 40, talking about how
these people love to hear Him preach. Look in Luke 8, verse
40 with me for just a minute. And it says, the common people
heard Him gladly. And all here in Luke 840, the
people received Him gladly. And it came to pass when Jesus
was returned, the people gladly received Him. Why? Because they
were all waiting for Him. Waiting for Him. And when our
Lord Jesus Christ, they sent some men after Him one time.
Said, I want you to go take this man. And the Pharisees did. The scribes did. And they came
to take Him. Sent some soldiers to lay hands
on Him. And they came back. And they said, why ain't you
brought him? And they said, well, he was preaching. And while he
was preaching, never man spake like this man before. So we left
him alone. Nobody ever spake like this. Why do we want to do anything
to him? Never man spake like this. He was a popular preacher
and people pressed upon him. And you know what he's doing
in his preaching? He's bringing many sons unto glory. And He'll
bring many, many sons unto glory. There's no doubt about it, that
our Lord Jesus Christ, being who He is, and that's who we
press to. I'm pressing toward the mark
of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. I'm pressing toward
Christ, and I'm pressing toward Him until the day that I'll not
have to press anymore, and I'll go be with Him, Him alone, in
His blessed presence. And so you see, He was a popular
preacher. And look what He preached. And
it came to pass the people pressed upon him, listen to what they
wanted to hear, the Word of God. They wanted to hear what God
said. They wanted to hear the Word of God. And our Lord Jesus
Christ is here preaching the Word of God. And you know the
only Word of God they had then was the Old Testament. That's
all they had. They had Genesis to Malachi. They had Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel,
and Daniel. They had judges, Ruth, Esther. They had all the Zephaniah, Zechariah,
Jonah, and our Lord Jesus Christ. He was opening the Old Testament
to them. And I believe that He dealt with
things like Isaiah 53. I believe He dealt with what
Moses had to say about the Passover. I believe He talked about Jonah.
I mean, our Lord Jesus Christ took the Old Testament Scriptures
And He opened them, and that's what He did in the Sermon on
the Mount, Matthew chapter 5. He said, you've heard it said.
Where did you hear that? In the Old Testament. He said,
I'm telling you, this is what I'm going to tell you now. And
so our Lord Jesus Christ, He was opening up the Old Testament
to men. They wanted to hear the Word of God. They didn't want
to go through rituals. They were used to going to the
temple. They were used to going to the tabernacle. They were
used to going to the synagogue. They didn't want to hear rituals.
They didn't want to be talking about rituals. They didn't want
to talk about laws. Oh, give us the law. We need
to hear the law. We don't know how to live unless
you give us the law. But he was hoping they wanted
to hear what God said. They said they come to hear the
Word of God. And that's why when our Lord
Jesus Christ was walking along with those two disciples on the
road to Emmaus, when he got through preaching to them, you know what
they said? Did not our hearts burn within
them while he opened unto us the Scriptures? And sometimes
our hearts get to burning within us while men open up the scriptures. It's like when Greg got up the
other morning to preach, he was preaching by the time he got
to the pulpit. He was on fire, he was on fire, that's what I'm
telling you. And when he's on fire, I tell you, the fire falls
on us, stirs up our hearts. And oh, they pressed upon him
so much and backed him up into a lake. Look what it said. And
they stood to hear the word of God. He stood by the lake of
Genesis. They kept pressing on and pressing on. He was against
the lake. Where am I going to go? Well, look what happens. He saw two ships standing by
the lake. There was no fishermen in them.
They were going out of them and they were washing their nets.
There's two ships sitting there. And he looked at them two and
there were no bodies in them. They're up on the shore and they're
washing their nets and all that. Look what our Lord Jesus Christ
said. And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's. I said, I've got to have some
room. And which was Simon's prayed him that he would thrust out
a little from the land. Take your boat, take your ship,
get out a little bit from the land. Get out in the water just
a little bit. And boy, when they got out a
little bit from the land, look what it says here. Look at his
pulpit. Now, he's a preacher, but look
at his pulpit. He's not got a nice pulpit like
I have here. He ain't got a great big of pulpit
he has to ascend to. A lot of back in the old days,
in the Puritan days, they had a pulpit. They called it Ascending
the Pulpit, because that's what you did. steps and you got up
you was way above the people so you can look down on so you'd
be up so they can hear you and here they was they came up on
our Lord Jesus Christ and he's pulpit you know what it was is
a boat the ship he didn't wait till he was in the temple He
didn't look for a big building to go in and say, y'all wait
until I find us a place to meet in. Wait until I find us a place
with some pews and some chairs to sit down in. No, he didn't
say that at all. He used what was provided by
his own hand. He entered into one of the ships,
and I love what it says right here. And he sat down. Sat down. sat down in that boat,
sat down in that ship, and look what it says, and he taught the
people out of that ship. That was his pulpit. A boat was
his pulpit. A ship was his pulpit. And those
folks gathered up there, and you know he had to talk loud
enough for all of them to hear him. And he was not excited,
you know, our Lord Jesus Christ's voice, no doubt it carried so
well. And he spoke to these folks,
and his pulpit was a ship. And ah, beloved, the number didn't
matter to him. The place didn't matter. He preached,
you know, when you look at our Lord Jesus Christ preaching,
our Lord Jesus Christ was not interested in numbers, was not
interested in certain places where he preached. None of those
things didn't matter. In fact, he preached to one woman
sitting on a well one day. One woman. Went out of his way,
walked miles and miles and miles to preach to one woman. The woman
at the well. He preached to two men walking
down the road. Two fellows walking down the
road one day, leaving Jerusalem, and our Lord Jesus walked up
next to them, began to talk to them, and the next thing you
know, their hearts are burning within them, and our Lord Jesus
Christ, He preached to two men walking seven miles down the
road one day. And he was sitting in a Pharisee's
house one day, And this woman came in and she stood weeping
at our Lord Jesus Christ. And she got down and she washed
his feet with her tears and dried them with the hairs of her head
and anointed his feet with oil, alabaster oil, and began to just
love him. And Simon said, Oh, so this man,
if he was a prophet, he'd know that this woman is a sinner. And our Lord preached to old
Simon in his own house. preached to Simon in his own
house. And how many times have you preached to one person in
a truck, in a car, traveling down the road, somebody sitting
in your living room? How many times have you preached
to somebody? And oh, our Lord Jesus Christ,
He didn't have to wait till somebody else. He preached when there's
people gathered around, He preached to them, preached to them. And
then look what happens here. And when he had left speaking,
left off preaching, verse 4, he said unto Simon, launch out
into the deep, and let down your nets for a draft. And Simon answered,
he said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, not
just all night, all the night, and have taken nothing. Nevertheless,
at thy word, I will let down the net. And when they had this
done, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes in their net break,
and they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other
ship, that they should come and help them. And they came and
filled both the ships, so that they began to sink." Oh, here's
a miracle. Got through preaching. He said,
going out here, let's go fishing. Let's go fishing now. If the
Lord tells you to go fishing, believe me, you're going to catch
some fish. Launch out into the deep. I'm
going to tell you something. You know what he said? Launch
out into the deep. He didn't say, Simon, would you
please? Would you please launch out into
the deep? I'm begging you to launch out into the deep. Now,
if you don't want to do it, you know, I'm not going to mess up
your free will. I'm going to give you the opportunity
to make your own decision for yourself. Sermon, listen. You know, I love you so much
and I wouldn't dare tell you what to do. I'm going to leave
it up to you whether you want to go out in the deep or whatever
you want to do. No, no. Our Lord Jesus Christ
gave this man a commandment. He said, launch out into the
deep. Is there any way in the world He's not going to launch
out into the deep? If the Lord tells a man to do
something, that's what's going to be done. And oh, listen, launch
out into the deep, this isn't an offer, this isn't an invitation,
it's a command. And I do so know, also know this,
that where the Lord Jesus Christ tells us to go and what He tells
us to do, He'll always provide for us more than you and I could
ever imagine. He ain't never, ever led us to
something that He didn't provide for. If a feller has to go and
beg for money to enter into the ministry, he ain't got no business
being in the ministry. If a church has to beg capes
to raise money, to have money for the church, then the church
got no business existing. Ain't that right? Are we not
more important than a bunch of fishes? and all this and he said
let down your nest and look what he said blotch out in the deep
just now he said when he got out there said now let you down
your nest for a draft good big draft and look what old Simon Peter
said Simon answered he said unto him master Oh, we've told. And you know what that word told
me? That means we worked really, really, really hard. That's what
it means. We've told all night. Nets in,
nets down. Nets in, nets down. Over here,
we dropped them down. Over there, we dropped them down.
We've been all over this lake and we've tolled all night. Put
down the nets, raise them back up. Pull down the nets, raise
them back up. We have tolled all night. And
look what he said. We never caught the first fish. Never caught the first fish. Oh my, he admitted his labor
was in vain. And I'm telling you this, anything
that you and I do without Christ is labor in vain. We'll never
take nothing, we'll never have nothing, can't do anything. And
that's what he said, said, Pastor, we've toiled all night and have
taken nothing. Admitted his labor in vain, but
he says, nevertheless at thy word, at thy word, You know,
at thy word, when he said this, at thy word, the heavens were
created. At thy word, God spanked the
earth. In the beginning, God said, Created
the heavens and the earth why that and all listen at thy word
the heavens were created Here's the cause of all causes at thy
word That's the cause of all causes is what God says and that
his word at thy word Let there be light at thy word. Let there be day and night and
let them be separated. I At thy word, seasons come and
seasons go, as long as the world exists. There'll be four seasons.
At thy word, kingdoms are raised up. At thy word, kingdoms are
brought down. At thy word, prophecies come
forth. And when they come forth and
then those prophecies become history. And oh, nevertheless, at thy
word, I'll let down the net. I'll let down the net. And I
tell you, at thy word, if we can take God in his word, bless
his name, at thy word, thy word, if I hid my heart, that I might
not sin against you. Wherewith will a young man cleanse
his way by taking heed according to thy word. The heavens and earth will pass
away, but God's Word will never change. He spake and it was done. He commanded and it stood fast. You know the reason the sun's
in the skies? God put it there. Christ put it there with His
Word. You know why it'll stay right where it's at? God said
that's where it's going to stay. You know when the moon comes
up? When the Lord tells it to come up. And it goes through
all of its seasons. You know, I read today that the
Pope, he decided that evolution and climate change, both are
realities. Now, how could you not, how could
you be a, well, if you was a Pope, you'd believe anything. And anybody
who believed the Pope would believe anything. They'd believe hell's
the highest house and the devil's a groundhog. But how can a person who's supposed
to be spiritual believe the Bible, believe in evolution? How could
it possibly be? How could that be? This is proof
right here that it's not evolution. The Lord Jesus Christ, God of
heaven and earth said, nevertheless it's your word, I'll do what
you tell me and what Christ tells us to do. Believe me, if he says
let down your net, something's gonna happen. You lost out in
the deep, something's going to happen. And that's like one man
I was reading today where a centurion said, go tell the master. Go
tell your master. This is a Roman centurion now.
Go tell your master that I've got to serve a sick unto death.
And oh, our Lord Jesus started that way, and He told what a
fine man He was, what a good man He was, and now He gave alms
to the Jews, and He built a synagogue, and done all kinds of things
for the Jewish nation. And they bragged on and so I,
Lord Jesus Christ, start toward his house. And you know what
he said? He met the Lord Jesus. He says, you know what? He said,
I'm a man and I know what authority is like. I have a lot of men
under me. And I tell one of them to go over there and he goes.
I tell one to come to me and he comes. What I tell a man to
do, that's what he does. He said, Lord, I'm not worthy. I don't care what they say about
me. I'm not worthy that you should come under my roof. You know
what all you need to do? Is you just speak the word and
my servant will be healed. And I, Lord Jesus Christ, said,
I've never found so great faith. No, not in all of it. And that
fellow went to the house and what happened? Felt like he'd
never been seen. He does what he said. Just speak
the word. Just speak the word. And oh,
listen, look what happens now. oh my and when they had this
done in verse 6 when they had this done according to his word
when they had this done lost out into the deep when they had
this done when the preaching was done at thy word look what
it says and and and they enclosed a great multitude of fishes their
net broke net broke they caught so many fishes that fishes give
out And oh listen, they started, come here fellas, come over here,
bring your ship over here, help us. And they filled both ships
out of that net. And look what it says, so that
they began to sink. They got so deep, you know, that
the water was just barely coming over the sides of the boat. We got to get to shore with all
these things. And look what it says. In verse
9 it says, they were astonished. They were astonished. And all
that were with them at the draft of fishes which they had taken.
And oh beloved, this is the way our Master does. This is why
we know it's our Lord Jesus Christ when things are done. We labor
and we take nothing. We labor and our labor amounts
to zero, nada, if it's not for Christ and His glory. And He
speaks and we have more than you can imagine. I want to show
you two things. Look over in John chapter 21
with me for a minute. And then we're going to look
in Ephesians. You know, that's the way our Master does. That's
why I say I've yet to meet the person, I've yet to meet the
person, the man that the Lord has been better to than me. Has
been better to than me, that's been, that's gave more and been
more gracious, more kind and been better to than me. Look
what happens here in John chapter 21 verse 3. Simon Peter saith
unto them, I go a fishing. I'm going to go back to my old
life. And they say unto him, well, we'll just go with you.
We'll just go with you. They went forth and entered into
a ship immediately. And listen to this. And that
night, just like before, they caught nothing. Caught nothing. Caught nothing. But when the
morning was now come, darkness You know, weeping endureth for
a night, but joy cometh in the morning. But when the morning
was now come, Jesus stood on the shore. But the disciples
knew not that it was Jesus. Then Jesus said unto them, Children,
have ye anything to eat? They hollered back to him, No,
no. And he said unto them, Cast the
net on the right side of the ship, and you'll find. Then told another one, that told
all night again. And all he said, and you shall
find, they cast forward their fore, and now they were not able
to draw it for the multitude of fishes. Oh my, same old, same old. Look over in Ephesians chapter
three with me for a minute. Ephesians chapter three in verse
20. Oh my, more fish that their net
began to break. Had enough to fill two ships
and they began to speak. But look what it said here in
Ephesians 3.20. Now unto him that is able to
do exceedingly abundant above all that we ask or think according
to the power that worketh in us. Now I can think big and I
can ask big. I ask big and I think big. And
whatever I ask or whatever I think, He gives me more than I could
ever imagine. Oh, He just, He fills my little
old boat up. What one of the preachers say
one night, he says, my cup runneth over. He said, just get you another
cup. Get you another cup. That's what
you do. One fork, fill up another one. He'll fill them up in all
mine. You just think about it. How
many times have we, without even asking sometimes, He gives us
such abundance. Such abundance. But now look
back over here in our text. Look at Peter's reaction here.
In verse 8. Look at Simon Peter's reaction
here. Simon's reaction. Call him Simon Peter. And he said, when Peter saw it,
saw all that fish, those boats filled to about to sink, Simon
Peter fell down at Jesus' knees, got to our Lord sitting in that
boat, and he got down on our Lord's knees, got down to our
Lord Jesus Christ's knees. He's sitting there, and he gets
down at the knees of our Lord Jesus Christ. And he's saying,
looked up at him and said, depart from me for I'm a sinful man,
oh Lord. Depart from me, I'm a sinful
man. Why after being so blessed Why,
after hearing him preach, why would anyone say, depart from
me? Why would anyone say that? But
you go through the New Testament and you find several times where
the people, the Scripture said, and they said, depart from us,
depart from me. And it said in one place, they
said, depart from us, and it says that Jesus departed from
them. And oh, he said, why would anyone
say to the Lord Jesus Christ, depart from me? Well, I'll tell
you why. He saw Christ in His glory before
He had just been the Master. But now He saw Christ in His
glory. He saw Him as the Lord. He saw
Him as God. He saw that He had dominion over
the fish of the sea. Had dominion over everything
in that ocean. Had that dominion over everything
that was going on there. He told Him where to go. Told
Him what to do. And everything that He told Him
to do happened. And he said, never seen anything like it.
And that's why I said, Lord, the way that I've talked to you,
the way that I've resisted you, the way that I did not know who
you were. And he saw himself in the light
of the Lord Jesus Christ. And when he saw himself in the
light of Christ's power and Christ's glory and Christ's miracle working
power, it made him see himself. Isaiah said, I saw the Lord high
and lifted up. And oh, what happened to him?
He got up and started clapping his hands out and hallelujah,
speaking in tongues? No. He said, I believe I run
an hour for Jesus. Let's all stand and give Jesus
a big hand clap. I saw him in his glory. No, he
fell down before the Lord and said, woe is me. I'm undone. I mean, I'm an undone
man. There's nothing about me that's
right. And not only am I undone, but
everybody around me is undone. And I was an angel that came
and took a coal off of that altar of God and put it on his limbs.
And oh, beloved, that's like Job said, I heard about you.
I've heard about you. Everybody knows something about
you. Everybody knows something about the Lord. Everybody knows
something about God. I'll tell you who I think Jesus
is. I'll tell you what I think it means to be saved. I'll tell
you what church you ought to go to. I'll tell you how you
ought to dress. I know something about the Lord. You don't need...
Everybody's got an opinion about Him. Job said, I've heard about
you with the hearing of the ear. But he said, you know what? I
see you now. I see you now. And what about it, Joe? Boy,
that, man, you're shouting hallelujah. No, he said, I wore my skin. I wore my skin. And I'm going
to get down here in the dust. Who in the world am I that I
would stand up and present myself in any other way than down low
before you? And he saw that he was sinful. He had never saw himself sinful
before. He just had done some wrong things. He had committed a few sins here. He said he was a sinful man. He's not like us, just make a
mistake every once in a while. Do something wrong every once
in a while. He was sinful. Just hadn't done something wrong.
Hadn't committed a few sins. He was a sinful man. And I'll
tell you something, that's why I said, Lord, depart from me.
He did not expect mercy, for he knew he did not deserve it.
You know what this is here, right here? This is self-denial in
the presence of the Lord of Glory Himself. I've got nothing! to give to you. I'm sinful. I've got nothing in my hand.
I've got nothing in my soul. I've got nothing in my heart.
I've got nothing in my life that I can give to you. I'm sinful. I'm sinful. And he saw the distance
between him. He was on the knees of the Lord
Jesus Christ and there he saw the great distance there was
between him and the Lord of Glory. Even at his knees he saw that
great distance that was between him and the Lord. And oh, what
he said is, you'd be just to depart from me. And all were
astonished and all of them that were with me. And all beloved,
look what our Lord says to him down here. Our Lord consoled
this man. Look what our Lord did for this man. And our Lord said down in verse
10, and Jesus, last part of the verse, Jesus
said unto Simon, fear not, don't be afraid. Don't be afraid. I'm not going to depart from
you. I'm not going to leave you. Fear not. I'm not going to depart
from you. I'm not going to leave you. Would I do such a work for you
and enthrall you with this power and then you think for a minute
that I would forsake you and that I would leave you? I'm not
going to depart from you. And look with me over in 2 Timothy
2.13. Just a minute. 2 Timothy 2.13. I want you to
see this. You know, Our Lord Jesus Christ said, Fear
not, I'm not going to depart from you. I'm not going to. I'm
not going to depart from you. Look here in Luke. I mean, excuse
me, Timothy 2.13. It says in verse 12, if we suffer,
we shall also reign with him. If we deny him, he also would
deny us. Listen to this, if we believe
not, if we are sometimes that we believe
not, and Eric, you don't have problems with not believing sometimes,
do you? Your faith don't fail you sometimes,
does it? And he said, if we believe not
yet, he abided faithful. He abided faithful. You know
why God's faithful? He can't deny himself. What does
he mean by that? I cannot deny what I've done
for you. I cannot deny that you're mine.
I cannot deny my presence in you. I cannot deny my... You
may not believe, but I'm going to stay faithful to you. Your
faith may get so weak sometimes and you may not even think about
me. But I'm going to abide faithful
to you. And look back over in our text, let me show you something.
He can't deny his work, he cannot deny himself. And then after
he told him, fear not, you know what he said to him? He said,
from henceforth, you're going to catch men. You're going to
quit being a fisher and you're going to start catching men.
And you know what he did? On the day of Pentecost, When
Peter preached on the day of Pentecost, you know how many
fish was caught that day? You know, that's one thing about
the gospel. The kingdom says it's a net that's
thrown into the sea, and they bring the net full of some good
fish and some bad fish and they separate. But this one day caught
nothing but good fish. Scripture says on that day, on
the day of Pentecost, when he got through preaching, there
were added to the church 3,000 souls. That's the first time he preached
after our Lord's Resurrection. My goodness, I ain't seen anybody
converted in a long, long time. He had 3,000 at once. And then
look what else happens to him. Oh my, and he caught me. You
know how you catch men? You catch them with the gospel. You know, people tell you, well
you got to learn different baits, you know, you got to have...
Up there in Lexington, they got everything under... Well, they
do here. They do here. You know, if you're single, you
can go to a place, you know, and meet other single Christians.
And if you're divorced, you can go be with a bunch of other divorced
people and be miserable with them together. And if you're
old folks, and you want to be around old folks, we've got a
special night for the older people, not the older people. They've
got something for everybody. You want to play basketball? Listen, you come over to our
church and I'll tell you what, I'll put you on first string.
You'll be the best basketball player here. That's what they
do. But you know what God catches
men with? With the gospel. Don't need no
hooks, don't need no crooks, don't need no... The gospel,
it does it's work, don't it? It does it's work. Look what
else happened now. In verse 11, and when they had brought their
ships to land, listen to this now. They forsook all. Walked off and left both their
boats. Left their nets. And what did they say? And they
followed Him. Huh? That's what happens when
the Lord Jesus Christ does something for you. You say, well, I'm going to burn
off. We forsake our past. We forsake
our religion. We forsake everything. Christ
becomes our all and end all. Huh? Amen? Our Father, O our gracious, gracious
Father in heaven, how wonderfully blessed and gracious you are
to us. Thank you for meeting with us tonight. Thank you for
the prayers, the songs. Thank you for this congregation
of believers in the great labor they undertake for Christ and
His glory, for how they labor to keep the building, to keep our
visitors, to keep our conference going. The love and care and
commitment that's involved in it. I thank you for them. Oh, I bless you for them. They
make my life so full. Give me such, have such peace
because Lord, you blessed me with such a wonderful group of
people to be associated with and be numbered among in this
world. And Father, I pray that you cause the gospel to run well
here at Lantana Grace. To whoever's preaching, whether
it be Obi, whether it be Brad, whether it be Gary, or whether
it be somebody else or me, may the gospel run well. May sinners
be brought to Christ. We ask in his name, amen. Amen. Reach out and touch the
Lord. that he passes by. You'll find he's not too busy
to hear your hearts cry. He See you Sunday. God willing. Good night and God
bless you.
