We, too often I fear, find ourselves looking inward or to things for assurance. We are never encouraged by our Lord to do so. Christ said, Look unto me. To look anywhere else other than to Christ is folly and sin. Of that we are assured by the Word of God, which testifies of Christ and salvation in Him.
