The greatest joy and glory of heaven is to be with Christ and to behold his glory; but we are also to be like Christ and to be glorified with him! In all that Christ has, the believer also has a share. To be honored with him, accepted in him, and glorified with him is heaven indeed.

Chrysostom said, “The pains of hell are not the greatest part of hell; the loss of heaven is the weightiest woe of hell.” To lose the presence, the company, the glory, and the hope of Christ is the greatest part of damnation.
