The word of God is the foundation of our faith. He hath said, “I will never leave you” so we can say, “The Lord is my helper.” For, behind his word is his character! Abraham believed that God was able to do all that he said and promised! So, to his word we go for assurance and comfort, knowing that our sovereign, righteous, and merciful God can do all that he promised.
