Can Christians have doubts about their faith?

Answered in 1 source

Yes, doubts and fears can be common even among Christians, but assurance of faith remains important.

While Christians may experience doubts and fears regarding their faith, this does not negate their salvation. The Bible acknowledges that even David expressed uncertainty at times, yet he affirmed, 'The Lord is my shepherd.' It's essential to understand that doubts about oneself can be a part of the Christian experience, but doubts about God should be addressed with faith. Assurance is crucial, and Christians are encouraged to turn to Scripture for reinforcement and encouragement. Therefore, while some may struggle with assurance intermittently, they are called to seek the truth of God's Word to regain confidence in their standing before Him.
