Can someone be saved without obedience to Christ?

Answered in 1 source

No, genuine faith in Christ is characterized by a life committed to obedience.

The notion that one can be saved without any accompanying obedience contradicts the biblical teaching on faith. Ephesians 2:8-10 makes it clear that while we are saved by grace through faith, we are also created for good works, which God prepared in advance for us to walk in. Therefore, while salvation is ultimately a gift from God, true faith inevitably produces obedience as its fruit. If someone claims faith in Christ but persists in unrepentant sin, this raises serious concerns regarding their relationship with God and the authenticity of their faith.
