How are believers free from the law?

Answered in 1 source

Believers are free from the law because Christ has fulfilled it and redeemed us from its curse.

According to Romans 7:4, believers are 'become dead to the law by the body of Christ,' signifying that through Christ's death, the law's claim over us has been nullified. As a result, we are no longer under its condemnation or obligation. This does not mean that we disregard God's moral standards; rather, our relationship with Him is based on grace, and we live not by law but according to the Spirit, seeking to honor God because of His love and grace toward us.
