How are men saved according to the Bible?

Answered in 1 source

Men are saved through God's sovereign grace as determined before the foundation of the world.

Salvation is deeply rooted in God's sovereign will as revealed in Ephesians 1:4-5, where it states that believers are chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world. This divine choice results in a predetermined plan for redemption through faith and the atoning sacrifice of Christ. Christ's obedience fulfills the requirements of the law, allowing His righteousness to be imputed to believers. Romans 5:19 explains that, just as Adam’s disobedience made many sinners, Christ’s obedience brings righteousness to many, establishing the way of salvation through representation and substitution.
