How can a Christian build confidence in their faith?

Answered in 1 source

A Christian can build confidence in their faith by trusting God's promises and reflecting on His past faithfulness.

Confidence in a believer's faith is largely derived from an understanding of God's promises and His track record of faithfulness throughout scripture and in personal experience. Hebrews 13:5-6 assures us of God's promise to never leave or forsake His people, which bolsters our assurance that we are secure in Him. Furthermore, reflecting upon God’s past provision and guidance in our lives serves as a foundation upon which we can build our faith. By meditating on His Word and relying on the Holy Spirit, we become increasingly assured of our position as His beloved, which instills confidence as we face life's uncertainties.
