How can anyone be saved according to the sovereign grace of God?

Answered in 1 source

Anyone can be saved through simple faith in Christ, regardless of their past.

According to sovereign grace theology, salvation is entirely the work of God, not dependent on human merit or effort. Ephesians 2:8-9 makes it clear: 'For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.' The example of the thief on the cross (Luke 23:39-43) illustrates this truth powerfully. In his final moments, he turned to Christ in faith and received immediate assurance of salvation. His lack of good works or religious credentials showcases that God's grace is available to all, and His mercy is not limited by human conditions. God desires to save all who recognize their need for a Savior.
