How can believers be strong in the Lord?

Answered in 1 source

Believers can be strong in the Lord by relying on His grace and power, acknowledging our dependence on Him.

The exhortation in Ephesians 6:10 to 'be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might' emphasizes the necessity of God's grace for strength in the Christian life. Paul reminds us that the tasks required of us as believers are impossible to fulfill without His assistance. As Ephesians 3:16 illustrates, we are to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in our inner man. Our strength comes from recognizing that we can accomplish nothing apart from Christ (John 15:5). Thus, we must actively rely on His grace, understanding that through Him we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37).
