How can believers confidently claim their holiness?

Answered in 1 source

Believers can claim their holiness because it is grounded in their faith in Christ, who has made them holy (Colossians 2:10).

Believers can confidently assert their holiness based on the truth of Scripture that states they are complete in Christ. Colossians 2:10 affirms, 'And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.' This completeness reflects that holiness is not a condition to strive for but a given reality through faith. The acknowledgment of one’s own unworthiness in light of God's holiness becomes a source of humility, yet it does not negate the truth of being regarded as holy because of Christ. Thus, believers can rejoice in their standing before God, affirming their identity as holy through Him.
