How can believers find hope in their suffering?

Answered in 1 source

Believers can find hope through the assurance that their suffering is temporary and that joy comes in the morning.

The hope of believers in times of suffering is rooted in the assurance that their pain is temporary and that God will ultimately bring relief and joy. The psalmist reminds us in Psalm 30:5, 'Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.' This promise gives believers a perspective that transcends their immediate circumstances, reassuring them that God is in control and that He works all things for good to those who love Him (Romans 8:28). This hope is further amplified by the knowledge of the glory that awaits believers in Christ, where all sorrow will cease and eternal joy will reign. Therefore, trusting in God's sovereignty enables believers to endure suffering with an expectation of the joy that lies ahead.
