How can Christians approach God in prayer?

Answered in 1 source

Christians can approach God in prayer with boldness, understanding that He welcomes their requests and confessions through Jesus Christ (Psalm 73).

The approach to God in prayer is rooted in the conviction that He is both holy and loving, inviting His children to come to Him with boldness. Psalm 73 illustrates that we can bring our deepest concerns and confessions to God, knowing He hears us. Through Jesus Christ, our High Priest, we have an open pathway to God, no longer hindered by our sins but cleansed through Christ's sacrifice. As we pray, we should do so in faith, trusting not only that God hears but also that He responds in accordance with His perfect will. This active engagement with God not only deepens our relationship with Him but also cultivates a sense of accountability and growth in our faith. By praying earnestly, we acknowledge our dependence on God’s guidance and mercy.
