How can Christians cope with difficult times?

Answered in 1 source

Christians cope with difficult times by relying on God's promises and the support of the Holy Spirit.

In difficult times, Christians are called to lean on God's promises and the comfort of the Holy Spirit. The assurance that God is in control and working for our good can bring peace even amidst trials. Philippians 4:6-7 encourages believers to present their requests to God, resulting in peace that surpasses understanding. Additionally, the hope of eternal glory helps to frame our present sufferings. Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 4:17 that our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. This perspective empowers us to endure and transforms our suffering into opportunities for greater reliance on God.
