How can Christians delight themselves in the Lord?

Answered in 2 sources

Christians can delight themselves in the Lord by setting their affections on Him and seeking to grow in their relationship with Him.

To delight oneself in the Lord, as instructed in Psalm 37:4, means to cultivate a heart that finds joy and satisfaction in God above all else. This involves actively seeking Him through prayer, worship, and the study of His Word. As you spend time in His presence and meditate on His attributes and promises, you will grow to love Him more deeply. Additionally, aligning your desires with His will leads to fulfillment and joy, as He promises to give you the desires of your heart when you remember Him first. As a believer grows in delighting in the Lord, they will find His grace and goodness evident in their lives.
