How can Christians experience peace amidst tribulations?

Answered in 1 source

Christians experience peace amidst tribulations by trusting in God’s purpose and the hope found in Christ, as stated in Romans 5.

Experiencing peace during tribulations is possible for Christians through the understanding of God's sovereign purpose in their trials. Romans 5:3-4 teaches that we can glory in tribulations because they produce perseverance, character, and ultimately hope. This hope does not disappoint, as we are assured of God's love experienced through the Holy Spirit. Viewing trials as divine appointments allows believers to grow deeper in their faith, as they learn that these experiences conform them to the image of Christ. Thus, peace is not a lack of trouble but rather a heart anchored in the promises of God and supported by faith in His overarching plan for our lives.
