How can Christians find rest in God during difficult times?

Answered in 1 source

Christians find rest in God by casting their burdens upon Him and trusting in His goodness.

In Psalm 37, believers are encouraged to 'rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him.' This rest signifies complete reliance on God's timing and goodness. To find rest, one must actively commit their concerns to God and trust that He is working all things for good. It requires a conscious decision to cease from fretting and to embrace the peace that comes from knowing God is sovereign. True rest is found in the assurance that God will handle all aspects of our lives, allowing us to live without anxiety and in fellowship with Him.
