How can Christians handle situations where they are reviled?

Answered in 1 source

Christians are called to respond with grace and not retaliate, following the example of Jesus.

In facing revilement, Christians are encouraged to emulate Jesus, who, when reviled, did not revile in return (1 Peter 2:23). This teaching underscores the importance of responding to insults or harsh words without retaliating, allowing for the opportunity to reflect Christ's character. Instead of responding out of anger or defending ourselves aggressively, we should commit ourselves to God and trust in His righteous judgment. This not only honors our Lord but also creates opportunities for witnessing grace to those around us.
