How can Christians overcome the fear of falling away?

Answered in 1 source

Believers can find security in the promise that nothing can separate them from the love of God in Christ Jesus.

The fear of falling away is a common struggle among believers, yet the Scriptures provide assurance that those truly in Christ are eternally secure. Romans 8:35-39 affirms that nothing, not even the trials and tribulations that believers face, can separate them from the love of God. This love is what sustains them amid challenges and uncertainties. Though some may appear to fall away, the persevering faith of true believers is a testament to their genuine relationship with Christ. Ultimately, understanding that salvation is rooted in God’s sovereign grace helps us to rest in His promises and to continue in faith, knowing that if we are His, we will endure to the end.
