How can Christians rest in Christ according to the Bible?

Answered in 1 source

Christians can rest in Christ by trusting in His completed work for salvation and relying on His strength for daily living.

Resting in Christ means relinquishing reliance on personal performance and instead embracing the sufficiency of Christ’s redemptive work. In John 15, we are reminded that apart from Him, we can do nothing, directing believers to depend on His strength. Resting involves a conscious recognition that our salvation, sanctification, and all spiritual growth are gifts of grace provided through Christ. It also encourages believers to persevere in faith and trust in His promises, as He is faithful to complete the work He started in us.
