How can Christians serve others?

Answered in 1 source

Christians can serve others by following Jesus' example of self-denial, compassion, and actively meeting the needs of those around them.

Christians are called to serve others, mirroring the selfless example of Jesus who, despite being Lord, humbly washed His disciples' feet (John 13:14-15). This act signifies that no service is too lowly for those who follow Christ. Furthermore, service should be prompted by love and a desire to meet both spiritual and physical needs, striving to uplift others in their time of need (James 2:15-17). By giving of themselves and their resources, Christians can reflect the love of Christ and actively participate in God's work of redemption in the world.
