How can I be accepted by God despite my failures?

Answered in 1 source

Acceptance before God is found in Christ, through His perfect obedience, as we are made righteous in Him (1 Peter 1:15).

Understanding our frailty and sinfulness can lead to the question of how one can be accepted by God. The Word of God offers clarity: acceptance is rooted in Christ's obedience, not our own. In 1 Peter 1:15, we are called to be holy, which seems daunting until we recognize that our holiness stems from being in Christ. His perfect life covers our inadequacies, presenting us as faultless before God. As believers, we stand in Christ's righteousness and can boldly approach God, confident in His grace and mercy. Our failures do not define us; rather, our identity in Christ does.
