How can I be sure that I have a saving interest in Christ?

Answered in 1 source

You can be sure of your salvation by having faith in Christ and experiencing the new birth (Colossians 3:1).

Paul reassures us in Colossians 3:1 that if we are risen with Christ, it is a clear indication that we have a saving interest in Him. This new birth, or being 'quickened' with Christ, means that we have transitioned from death in trespasses and sins to new life in Him. Assurance of salvation comes through sincere faith in Christ, evidenced by a genuine love for Him and His people. If your confidence lies wholly in Jesus, you can rejoice with the assurance that you belong to Him and that all the promises of God are yours.
