How can I cultivate humility in my daily life?

Answered in 1 source

Cultivating humility involves recognizing one's own need for God's grace and actively serving others in love.

To cultivate humility in daily life, one must start by honestly assessing oneself in light of God's holiness and grace. This begins with prayer, seeking God’s help to see oneself as unable to merit His favor without Christ. Engaging in selfless acts of service, as modeled by Christ in Matthew 20:28—where He came not to be served but to serve—fosters a humble spirit. Practically, this can involve volunteering, actively listening to others, and prioritizing the needs of those around you. Additionally, being open to feedback and correction from trusted fellow believers allows individuals to grow and remain grounded in humility. Lastly, remembering daily the grace that God has extended to us through Christ keeps our posture before God and others one of humility.
