How can I have assurance of being saved?

Answered in 1 source

Assurance of salvation is found by examining your faith, hoping in Christ's righteousness, and possessing the love of God in your heart.

To gain assurance of salvation, one must conduct a sincere self-examination through the lens of Scripture (2 Corinthians 13:5). Believers should reflect on whether they possess the faith of God's elect, the hope of the gospel, and the love of Christ within them (1 Corinthians 13:13). Assurance does not come from good deeds or religious practices, but rather through understanding that salvation is accomplished solely by Jesus Christ's work on the cross (Colossians 1:23). When believers recognize that their hope rests on Christ’s blood and righteousness, they can experience true peace and assurance that they are saved and secure in Him.
