How can I have assurance that I am a believer?

Answered in 1 source

Assurance of being a believer is found in trusting Christ, not in personal experiences or feelings.

The assurance of being a believer does not come from human validation or emotional experiences but is grounded in faith in Jesus Christ. The Scriptures remind us that faith in Him leads to justification, as stated in Acts 13:39. Rather than assessing our worthiness or feelings, the believer should look to Christ and His promises. It is through the Word of God, confirmed by the Holy Spirit, that one finds assurance in their salvation. This understanding reinforces the truth that it is Christ’s work, not our feelings or actions, that guarantees our standing before God as His children.
