How can I know I am one of the elect?

The only assurance we have of being one of the elect is found in faith in Christ. Unlike the Pharisees who relied on their perceived status, true believers recognize their need for a Savior. Coming to Christ with a humble heart, openly seeking His mercy and forgiveness, is evidence of God's election. Scripture assures us that all those whom the Father gives to Jesus will come to Him. Ultimately, it isn't about calculating one's election but rather responding to God's call and trusting in Christ's finished work for salvation.
