How can I know if I am saved?

Answered in 2 sources

You can know you are saved if you have heard and received the Gospel, become a follower of Christ, and exhibit faith enduring through trials.

The assurance of salvation is based on specific evidences outlined in the New Testament.1 Thessalonians 1:5-10 provides key indicators: first, true believers have genuinely heard and accepted the Gospel; second, they actively follow Christ, demonstrating that their faith is not stagnant. Additionally, those who are saved will exhibit commitment to the Gospel, turning away from idolatry and false beliefs, and will display perseverance through trials and afflictions. If you are actively seeking to know Christ, relying on Him alone for salvation, and your life reflects a genuine commitment to follow Him, then these are signs that you are saved. Ultimately, your assurance lies not in feelings or works, but in the completed work of Christ and His promise to keep you.
