How can I know if I am truly redeemed?

Answered in 1 source

True redemption is evidenced by a changed heart and a desire to follow Christ (Romans 8:16).

Redemption in Christ brings about a fundamental change in a person's heart and life. Romans 8:16 states, 'The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.' This internal witness of the Holy Spirit confirms a believer's identity as a child of God, leading to an authentic desire to live for Christ. Genuine faith produces a transformation that reflects in both attitude and behavior, compelling individuals to abandon their old ways and embrace the newness of life offered through the gospel. Thus, the evidence of true redemption lies in the alignment of one's heart and actions with the will of God.
