How can I know if I'm one of God's elect?

Answered in 10 sources

One can have assurance of being among God's elect through faith in Christ and the witness of the Holy Spirit in their lives.

Assurance of being God's elect comes from understanding the unbreakable chain of salvation outlined in Romans 8, where Paul emphasizes that nothing can separate believers from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Faith serves as a title of assurance, assuring individuals of their standing before God. Additionally, 1 John repeatedly assures believers that they can know they have eternal life, which is witnessed by the Holy Spirit working in their hearts. This assurance doesn't stem from personal merit but from God's promises and faithfulness to His elect, who are drawn to Christ through the proclamation of the gospel.
