How can I overcome the hardships of sin as a Christian?

Answered in 1 source

By continually looking unto Jesus, Christians can find strength to overcome sin and its hardships.

Overcoming the hardships of sin is a significant struggle for Christians, but the Bible provides clear guidance through the principle of looking unto Jesus. Hebrews 12:1-2 encourages believers to lay aside every weight and sin, while emphasizing that our focus must be firmly placed on Christ. By continually fixing our eyes on Him, we derive strength to resist temptation and to endure trials. Furthermore, remembering that Jesus, who endured the cross, truly understands our struggles, inspires us to persevere through His grace. Therefore, relying on the Holy Spirit and looking to Jesus not only helps us confront our sin but also encourages growth in holiness.
