How can I show grace to others?

Answered in 1 source

You can show grace to others by offering forgiveness and kindness without expecting anything in return, just as God has graciously forgiven us.

To show grace to others, one must first recognize the grace that has been bestowed upon them by God. This means extending forgiveness and love without expecting a quid pro quo. Just as David showed mercy to Mephibosheth, who was undeserving and lame, Christians are called to demonstrate similar grace to those around them. This act stems from a heart transformed by God's grace, which should compel believers to act in accordance with that grace. Moreover, by creating an atmosphere of unconditional love and support, believers reflect Christ’s character to the world. It is a practical outworking of the gospel, as forgiven people forgive others and thus become vessels of God's grace in their communities.
