How can Jesus be a friend in times of trouble?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus is a present friend who comforts us in our afflictions and sustains us through every trial.

The assurance that Jesus is a steadfast friend in our troubles is a source of great comfort for believers. He promises never to leave nor forsake us, proving His faithfulness in times of difficulty. Whether we encounter sickness, heartache, or despair, He is there to uphold us. His presence provides peace amid adversity, and in times of death, He offers comfort and support. His commitment to us as our friend means that we can lean on Him for strength and guidance through life's most challenging seasons.
