How can one be assured of receiving the living water?

To be assured of receiving living water is to place faith in Christ's promise. In John 7:38, Jesus states that those who believe in Him will have rivers of living water flow from within them. This promise is rooted in the assurance that faith activates God's promise to satisfy our deepest spiritual needs. When one recognizes their thirst for righteousness, cries out to Christ, and truly believes in Him, they receive the Holy Spirit, who sustains and fulfills this promise of living water throughout their lifetime of faith.
