How can one be assured of their salvation in Christ?

Answered in 2 sources

Assurance of salvation comes from faith in Christ, as Romans 10:9 teaches that if we confess with our mouth and believe in our heart, we will be saved.

Assurance of salvation is deeply rooted in the promises of Scripture, particularly Romans 10:9, which assures that genuine faith—confession of Christ as Lord and belief in His resurrection—ensures salvation. In Reformed theology, this certainty is grounded in the believer’s union with Christ, where the completed work of salvation is applied. Believers are encouraged to rest in the sufficiency of grace and the security of their position in Christ, knowing that nothing can separate them from the love of God (Romans 8:38-39).
