How can one be cleansed from their sins?

Answered in 1 source

One can only be cleansed from sins through the blood of Christ, which purifies us from all unrighteousness.

Cleansing from sin is not possible through human effort or works; it is solely through the blood of Jesus Christ that we receive forgiveness and purity. 1 John 1:7 states, 'The blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanseth us from all sin.' This covenant blood, shed for the remission of sins, is the only means by which we can stand justified before God. As emphasized in the sermon, relying on one's own efforts for atonement will lead to despair, but through faith in Christ, one can rejoice in the assurance of forgiveness.
