How can one have a pure heart according to the Bible?

A pure heart comes from faith in Christ and being transformed by His sacrifice.

The biblical concept of a pure heart is not about being without sin but about having a heart that has been cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ. In Acts 15:9, it is stated that our hearts are purified by faith. This transformation is granted through the new covenant established by Christ, which promises a new heart for believers. While our hearts are inherently sinful, the grace of God allows us to receive a new disposition that seeks after righteousness and desires to see God.
