How can one know if they are saved?

Answered in 1 source

One can know they are saved if they believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and this revelation is from God (1 John 5:1).

Assurance of salvation is found in the belief that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, as stated in 1 John 5:1. This belief is not merely intellectual; it is a revelation from God Himself. As it was revealed to Peter by the Father (Matthew 16:17), so too, true faith and understanding of Christ's identity come through divine revelation. Genuine faith in Christ leads to a transformed life, characterized by reliance on Him for salvation rather than personal merit. If a person holds the conviction that Jesus has accomplished their redemption and they rest in His finished work, they can be assured of their salvation as a work of God's grace.
