How can our trials lead to helping others?

Answered in 1 source

Our trials help us develop empathy and the ability to comfort others in their struggles.

Paul teaches that the comfort we receive from God in our own trials equips us to comfort others who face similar difficulties. According to 2 Corinthians 1:4, the comfort we have received is meant not just for us but also to share with others, creating a cycle of encouragement and strength within the community of believers. By experiencing God’s faithfulness in our struggles, we are positioned to offer authentic support and assurance to those in need, making our trials purposeful in God's grand design.
