How can someone come to Christ willingly?

Answered in 1 source

Coming to Christ willingly involves the transformation of our hearts by God, leading us to desire Him over our own desires.

Although we are bound by sin and cannot come to Christ of our own ability, Ezekiel 36:26 tells us that God provides a new heart and spirit. This transformation allows us to come willingly to Christ, desiring Him rather than being compelled by our natural inclinations. Psalm 110:3 reflects this, stating, 'Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power.' When God intervenes in a person’s life, He instills within them both the will and the ability to seek Him, resulting in a genuine desire to follow Christ.
