How can someone know if they are among those Christ died for?

To determine if you are one for whom Christ died, you must first acknowledge your sinful nature and need for redemption. As Paul states in 1 Timothy 1:15, 'Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners,' and recognizing oneself as a sinner is the first step toward salvation.
