How can someone with weak faith be assured of salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Even those with weak faith can be assured of salvation if their faith is directed toward Christ, who is the object of true faith.

The sermon illustrates that true faith, even when it is weak, is still faith that brings individuals to Christ. The father in Mark 9, despite his doubts, brought his son to Jesus, demonstrating that salvation is not dependent on the strength of one's faith but rather on the object of that faith—Christ Himself. As Paul assures us in Romans, salvation is by grace through faith, and even a small measure of true faith can rest assured in Christ's saving work. Therefore, a believer need not possess perfect faith; rather, genuine and earnest faith, even when accompanied by doubts, is what connects them to Christ's redemptive power.
