How can we approach God according to the Bible?

The Bible teaches that approaching God is solely through Jesus Christ. In John 14:6, Jesus emphasizes that 'no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.' This phrase captures the core of Christian belief in the necessity of Christ for effective communication and relationship with God. Understanding that all other attempts to reach God through works, traditions, or personal righteousness are futile is crucial. The believer’s acceptance before God hinges completely on being found in Christ—as His righteousness and not their own. Thus, faith in Christ alone is the pivotal means of accessing God’s presence and grace.
