How can we as Christians persevere in difficult times?

Answered in 1 source

We persevere by fixing our eyes on Jesus and remembering the joy of our future salvation.

Perseverance in difficult times requires a steadfast focus on Jesus Christ, who is our ultimate example of faithfulness and endurance. Hebrews 12:2 instructs believers to look to Jesus, who endured significant suffering for the joy set before Him — the joy of saving His people. This perspective shifts our focus from current struggles to the eternal glory we will experience with Him. As Philippians 1:6 encourages, we can trust in God's faithfulness to carry us through our trials, knowing that He who began a good work in us will be faithful to complete it. This assurance fuels our perseverance as we call upon Him in prayer and remember His promises.
