How can we avoid comparing our spiritual experiences with others?

Answered in 1 source

We should focus on our faith in Christ instead of comparing our experiences with others.

Comparing our spiritual experiences with those of others is a common pitfall that can lead to doubt and discontentment. In the sermon, it is emphasized that every believer’s experience of grace is distinct, much like fingerprints. Instead of looking back at past experiences or judging our faith based on the experiences of others, we must focus solely on the question: Do you believe on the Son of God? This personal faith in Christ is what truly defines our relationship with Him, not any specific experiences we may or may not have had. Assurance comes from trusting in Him and His promises, revealing that the essence of one’s faith is always directed toward Jesus Christ rather than subjective comparisons.
