How can we be assured of salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Salvation is assured through faith in Christ and is a work of God's sovereign grace, not of our own merit.

The preacher makes it clear that our assurance of salvation rests entirely on God's sovereign grace. Ephesians 2:8-9 articulates that 'For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.' This underscores that salvation is not obtained through our actions but is purely a result of God's elected purpose and the redemptive work of Christ. The belief that 'Jesus Christ came to save sinners,' as stated in 1 Timothy 1:15, indicates that salvation is assured to all who place their faith in Him.
