How can we be filled with God's grace?

Answered in 1 source

We must come to God as empty vessels, acknowledging our need for His grace to be filled.

The concept of being filled with God's grace is beautifully illustrated in the parable of the widow in 2 Kings 4, where she was instructed to gather empty vessels to be filled with oil. This reflects our need to approach God devoid of self-reliance or pride, recognizing our complete dependence on His grace. As empty vessels, we signify our willingness to receive God's gifts of grace and mercy. The fulfillment of this promise is found when we fully acknowledge our inability and allow Him to fill us with His abundant grace, as stated in Matthew 5:6, "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled."
