How can we be made clean before God?

The question of how an unclean person can be made clean before a holy God is central to Christian theology. Job poignantly asks, 'Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean?' The answer is found in the righteousness of Jesus Christ, who died as a propitiation for our sins. Romans 3:25-26 explains that it is God's grace that justifies the believer through faith in Christ’s blood.
