How can we be patient with others in light of our own sin?

Answered in 1 source

We can be patient with others because we recognize our own struggles with sin and God's grace towards us.

Being patient with others is rooted in the understanding that we ourselves are not without sin. The scriptures instruct that if we see a brother or sister fall into sin, rather than condemning them, we should restore them gently, keeping in mind our own sinful tendencies (Galatians 6:1). This perspective invites us to treat others with the same grace that we expect from God for ourselves. When we remember our own failures and the grace we have received, it allows us to approach others with love and compassion, fostering unity and restoration within the body of Christ.
